No troop meetings are scheduled. Everyone is invited to a pot-luck party for the Pometto family at noon, Sunday, July 27, at the Hillaker home. The Pomettos have been part of the Troop 128 family since almost the very beginning, and Tony was our first Eagle Scout. They are moving to South Carolina. The Hillakers live at 1104 59th St. in Des Moines, directly south of St. Theresa's Church on University Ave. near Windsor Heights. Any questions, please call Michelle at 255-2081. The Hillakers will provide cake, drinks and table service. Families with last names A through O can bring a side dish and last names P through Z can bring a main dish. All family members are invited, not just Scouts. |

| We will have an Adult Troop Committee Meeting at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at the Basilica of St. John School. At least one parent from each Scout family is asked to attend. |

| Scouts need to fill out a permission slip and return it to the troop with activity fees at the weekly troop meeting in advance of any event involving Troop 128 outside of the Basilica of St. John. |
